Spring, pastel colored flowers
With the awakening of the fruit trees in bloom, the vineyards starting to come out of their winter hibernation, Piedmont is great to visit in the spring time months. The pastel colored hillsides, and crisp mornings make for wine tasting of the rich and bold reds a perfect warming combination.
Summer, intense greens
The best time to come is early summer, when the rolling hills are in different deep shades of green. Here hiking, picnicking in the vineyards is an optimal idea, with a bottle of crisp and cool Arneis, you cannot go wrong.
Fall, Alba white truffle festival
This is the most exciting time of the year, harvest is happening, the truffle festivals are getting revved up, and the foliage is starting to change colors. Even the sleepiest towns are bustling with life during this time. It is the most exciting, and romantic time to visit this region.
