With this we will also take you on a journey to meet great winemakers who through centuries of knowledge produce priceless wine, while we discuss the differences between the wine regions Barolo and Barbaresco and how the soil structures differ in each vineyard, the recent wine movements, and the ever-changing weather pattern and how this is effecting the wines today.
Alba Truffle Hunts
We will take you out first hand with a professional truffle hunter (Trifolau) and his dog in search of these precious treasures. While the main season for the Alba white truffle is from late September until December, the black truffle can be found in the Langhe hills all year round. With this truffle tour, you will learn about these sacred treasures as well as how the truffles grow, about the trees which make the best quality, and about the wonderful Langhe dirt that makes the truffles so prized.
