Come to Italy with me!
Italy’s bread basket, the sun drenched Puglia, home to orecchiette pasta, durum wheat breads, Primitivo, and Trulli. Amongst the seaside towns, the enchanting sunsets over the Adriatic, it is here we find diverse and ancient architecture completely full of UNESCO World Heritage sites, its world famous olive oils, and it's never ending abundance of carbohydrates. On this six night seven day tour throughout Italy’s southern countryside, you will be immersed in immutable architecture as well as to spot some of worlds most modern designs. You will know what it feels like to drive along olive covered roads, that stand in place like ancient giants. You will breath in the salty air, from the Adriatic Sea, while enticing the belly with some of the freshest, finest seafood.
You will meet the winemakers and even enjoy a lunch or dinner with a few. Taste all the indigenous grapes that these two regions offer and get to talk about their differences and nuances with farmers, winemakers, wine lovers, and sommeliers. You will learn first hand about the making of olive oil, and get to see how this liquid gold is used in many dishes in many of the locals cuisine.
