Amanda Courtney
Amanda Courtney the owner and brains behind the creation of Amanda’s Wine Adventures. A long had dream of helping travelers to become Italian. Born and raised in the United States, I now live and work in one of the most important Wine areas in Italy (Barolo & Barbaresco as well at Etna), and my goal is for more people to enjoy and understand the terribly complicated Italian wines.
Since making my home here in Langhe in 2011, I have traveled the whole country of Italy extensively discovering all of the specifics of Italian wine, food, and culture. When I am not traveling, I am hosting food themed dinner parties, a mean BBQ, or better yet the largest Halloween party the Langhe has ever seen.
Gianni Albesano
Gianni is a local, and grew up amongst the vines in a grape growing family. He also is a winemaker for one of Barbaresco’s most famous wineries. Where he has been working side by side for the past 18 years with some of the most talented people in the Langhe.
No one knows the Langhe and Monferrato better than Gianni. He loves his food and wine and is not afraid to travel great lengths to meet the people and see first hand how the finest products are made. Not only but he likes to eat them after:)
